Got these for my mom and she totally loves using them when its planting time, or when digging out weeds with deep roots.
These are awesome for digging in the hard desert dirt here in Las Vegas. The claws are well attached and the gloves fit my medium-sized hands, with a bit more room for a hand that is a little larger. So far the gloves appear to be very durable, and they prevent those tiny unsee-able thorns from poking through to my fingers and hands (which can be more than annoying when gardening here). Overall, for the price, I haven't found a better glove for gardening here. If I can keep the clawed pair away from my daughter's boyfriend who likes to "steal" them from me and pretend he's Wolverine. I'll have to get him his own pair for Christmas this year, I'm thinking.
I’d seen this product’s ads & thought how smart! & laughed. Out digging in the dirt a few days later I was stung by “something” in the dirt! I ordered these gloves later that day! I was afraid they would be baggy & not work. BUT NOT THE CASE! They fit nice & tight-so I have control & no more bug bite surprises AND my manicure will last longer!
I'll be honest -- I bought these out of curiosity. My husband and I have often joked that I need "Wolverine gloves" while gardening because my impatience for finding tools is kind of epic. Especially gloves; I work in high-risk latex, which spoils me for gloves that actually have the bulk to them. But I really didn't expect them to be any good. I love it when I'm surprised like this! Because these are really good gloves, *especially* for this price point. The claw-finger attachments are sturdy, it feels like the fingertips of the gloves on those are padded, which is awesome. They grip like nobody's business, and the size the best fit I've found yet. There's even more tactile retention than I'd expected, I can actually feel what I'm holding! Anyway. Great gloves.
I use it because I like the color and the claws are so fun to use. I would recommend if u have lots of gardening to do. My wife makes fun that it can also be used as a Halloween costume.
My lawn man left me with a huge mess of cut grass in a huge pile about 8' x 10' x 1' h, on top of my grass! These are awesome. I have several varieties of grass and weeds in my yard & garden that have treacherous root systems. These work like a dream to get them out when the soil is damp!!
These are really handy for planting in my vegetable garden. No need to get out the mini-shovel or rake. They are easy to dig with by hand (the ones with the claws on them anyway). They also seem to be comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Best set of gardening gloves I own!
